I approached cycling at the age of eight, and in the junior category - from 2010 to 2011 - I achieved some successes in Italian races and several placings, including, in 2011, fourth place in line at the European Championships in Offida. I participated as a regular at the world championships in line in Copenhagen. 
In 2012, not even nineteen years old, I made my debut in the Élite category with the Bepink team and during the season I was also called up to the national team for the Élite road race at the World Championships in Valkenburg.

The following year I surprisingly achieved my first success in the category, winning the solo road race at the Italian championships in Rancio Valcuvia (VA).
In the same year I was fourth at the Muri Fermani and eighth in the Under-23 road race at the European Championships in Olomouc.

I was also called up again for the national team, as a reserve, for the world championships in Tuscany, Florence.
In 2014 I wore the Astana-Bepink jersey, and during the season I didn't get any victories, but I did get results such as an eighth place in the GC del Gracia Orlova and ninth in both the tricolour road race and the time trial.
In 2015-2016 I change my jersey to move to the ranks of Alé-cipollini and in 2015 I finished third at the national championships in line, on Superga.
From 2017 to 2019 I wear the uniform of the Bergamo-based team Valcar, taking part in the races of the World calendar, placing fourth at the Tour of Chongming Island in 2018.
I obtain two victories with the Valcar team, one in 2017 at the Giro di Campania and the other in 2018 at the Giro delle Marche. 
I decide to end my professional cycling career at the end of 2019 with the Tour of Guangxi.
